Like most of us, I never had a momentous turning point towards the love for traveling, it was somewhere deep down submerged into me from my early years. How do I know that? Because my mum told me that since a child I had a habit of cutting out photos and articles of beautiful destinations from newspapers and magazines and I would write a 2-3 line description under it (which included what I would do there).
And it was cherry on top because my dad was a travel freak so I guess it came down rushing in genes for me. So, my dad had a formula to at least go on a minimum of 3 vacations every year. So, simple maths here from 4 years old till 19 years old, I have been on the annual family trips all over India.
All 4 pilgrimage sites of Hinduism (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Rameshwaram, Puri, and lastly Somnath) was covered by me before I turned 12 years old.
So, as I began my first year of college, I took matters into my hands, I bought a DSLR partly from my savings and some from family members and then embarked on my journey to travel to places less traveled and these were solely budget travels not like any exotic hotels instead homestays or best of all carrying a sleeping bag, No luxurious meals rather savory local dishes, No cushiony car/flight rides instead opt for Public Transportations.
So, the travel part is on hold for almost a year. Lastly, I traveled was in March of 2020 near Holi to Sangla Holi (world famous), Kalpa, Chitkul, and Kaza (Spiti Valley). It was just before the pandemic hit us and all hell broke loose on everyone in this country.
Apart from that, I work as a freelance photographer/videographer and video editor in Delhi and NCR regions, serving all types of projects. So, it is going well at this moment, the plan is to travel more and more after this pandemic, gather a plethora of experiences, live different individualities, and learn about as many diverse cultures I can and the goal is to cover every inch of this world while being prosperous and healthy at my work (being a well-known content creator and freelancing) and personal life.
